one of my early role models was actress judy geeson. i loved watching as her 'pamela dare' transformed from a teenage misfit into a young lady, under the tutelage of her understanding teacher played by sidney poitier. from start to finish we are blessed with the satisfaction of witnessing sidney turn a roomful of louts into decent individuals. i dare you to not shed a tear when pamela asks the teacher of your dreams to join her on the dance floor of the school gym in this classic telling of teenage bad behavior in the classroom.
