a very real thing

things are bad enough in london without the brilliant actor jeremy irons behaving badly. i have always thought he was great. years ago i went to see him in the tom stoppard play 'the real thing' and he was amazing. i wrote him a lovely note and guess what? i got an envelope in the mail shortly after that written on 'j. irons' stationery. he thanked me for my kindness and invited me to come backstage should i 'visit' the play again.

ha ha ha. well, here is how he has lately been defending his questionable gestures:

'Jeremy Irons excuses his own tendency to grope women with the lame line that ‘I’ve always been very tactile’.'

come on dad! help the world wake up one idiot at a time.
