'Thelma, Louise et Chantal' is a new and well received french movie. the undeniably adored actress/ singer jane birkin plays 'nelly.' there does not appear to be a 'thelma' or 'louise.' the fwench are funny.
here is jane in the early 70's standing on the street in the seaside city of nice. across the road stands the hotel negresco, a wedding cake of a building with the most gorgeous lobby i've ever seen.
