In 1964, Geraldine Page starred in a Broadway revival of Anton Chekhov's Three Sisters playing eldest sister Olga to Kim Stanley's Masha with Shelley Winters as the interloper Natasha.
i was too busy with my head in 'rubber soul' at the time. plus, i was growing up in l.a. not nyc. still, what a flipping amazing cast.
