there is a very poetic scene in neil jordan's 'breakfast on pluto' that is shot through what appears to be a tent. the characters converse in shadow which only adds to the intimacy. even though at this moment in the story 'kitten' has only made a couple of appearances on stage, no one wants to be told that their participation in a band is not working out after all. so, it is a blessing to not see the faces of both the heartbreaker and heartbroken.
