while digging into some facts on actor jimmy stewart in an attempt to discover why i never choose to write about him, i discovered that i completely love so many movies he starred in. well, shut my mouth! so, what better way to begin than with a film that had a role for the genius musician duke ellington. he plays the part of 'pie eye', owner of a jazz joint stewart's character likes to drop by. interestingly, he drops by to share duke's seat at the piano.
