the first image is obviously david bowie in 'the man who fell to earth.' bowie, one of the most brilliant and beautiful of all artists, was at his most exquisite in this sad sad tale. it is one of my favorite films. the other image is less obvious but guess what? it is another widely adored english musician who popped up in films. ladies and gentlemen, i give you ringo starr in 'a hard day's night.'
