j as in jean
i will have lots to say about 1931's little beast known as 'the public enemy' very soon. i am still digesting my recent viewing and i have learned much from the informative commentary. however, as today is letter 'j' day, in honor of jim carroll, i will tip my hat to the ever delightful jean harlow. she was 20 years old in this film that surely belongs to cagney. another 'j'! as far as i can tell, in her short career, jean never took a false step. when this woman smiles she absolutely twinkles.
