...can still be cherished. the other day, while painting, i brought up a movie on hulu.com. it was terrible! however, lauren bacall had a supporting role and the woman was incredible. she transcended the insipid (!) script and i had to put my paintbrush down every time she appeared in a scene. it takes a lot to be able to shine through mediocrity.
there are countless great images of bacall and her bogie. this one is so sweet.
