too late

i once saw elizabeth montgomery in a very cool boutique. typically, i wanted to leave her alone. i wasn't able to tell her how delightful 'bewitched' had always been. i had yet to discover the unbeatable charm of her dad, robert.

I really enjoy Lady In The Lake--perhaps not one of Robert Montgomery's more celebrated flicks but fine just the same. The camera takes the viewpoint of Montgomery's character for much of the film, which some may find annoying but I consider a refreshing change of pace. And Montgomery gives one of the better Phillip Marlowe interpretations I've seen.
