there i was, watching 'far from the madding crowd' which i have seen before. it is a very beautifully shot film, lots of gorgeous countryside and border collies. anyone who has read this blog knows that julie christie is my single favorite actress ever. well, i saw something tonight that i have never seen in a film before, and i have seen a lot of movies. there is one split second where julie looks at the camera. it blew my little mind. not her fault! they kept it in.
