born jacques michel andre sarrazin in 1940, actor michael hails from quebec city, canada. when i first saw him it must have been in 'flim flam man.' i am sure i fell in love. i was even lucky enough to see him one day on the beach in santa monica, dressed in blue to match his saucers eyes. he was absolutely beautiful.
in 1969 he teamed up with jane fonda to make 'they shoot horses, don't they.' around the same time he was chosen to play 'joe buck' in 'midnight cowboy' but studio disputes won out and the part of a lifetime went to and eventually belonged to, john voight.

in 1975 there was 'jaws' and 'the reincarnation of peter proud'. two movies i saw in the movie theater that made me feel like a mature teen seeing a non-g movie. I remember blushing and feeling uncomfortable when michael swam naked in the lake where a murder just happened. at age 13, both these films gave me the strength to watch more "adult" themed movies without feeling uncomfortable and ignited a desire to see more shocking images via film. i had a crush on michael as well after seeing him in that film.
