ball of confusion

imagine if the studio chief said, 'write down the names of all the talented actors you can think of on little bits of paper and toss them in a jar and pick just enough for me to cast this dang small town soap opera.' how cool that marlon brando's name was in there. not only did he get picked but so did jane fonda, robert redford and the long time great little scene thief miriam hopkins.
'the chase' is far from a mess even if all the cheating and chasing is giving marlon, as town sheriff, a big headache. in a small role is janice rule, a very alluring actress whose style is timeless. almost forgot, the great james fox is in this as well. one kooky cast.
