all that glitters is not gold

the other night i watched one of my fave films, 'animal kingdom.' i can't get enough of actor leslie howard. his most famous work is in 'gone with the wind', a movie i don't really care too much about. his performances in 'pygmalion' and 'of human bondage' are exquisite. in 'animal kingdom' he plays such a darling guy, a book publisher, who marries a very alluring, but deceiving woman played by the terrific myrna loy. 'Some perfect wife I am. I've been married four times, divorced four times, have no children, and can't boil an egg.'-myrna loy. one of the real treats in this thirties film is the actor who plays leslie's butler.
