just shy of 90 (!) film credits, charlotte rampling continues to break the mental mode for what is acceptable in terms of sexuality on screen. from her early days in 'georgy girl' when she asked her somewhat frumpy roommate if she looked good, charlotte has never seemed to flaunt her cheekbones. the woman simply has the most daring eyes, delightful freckles, and head to toe allure.
she speaks with such love for actor dirk bogarde, calling him the most generous man. they starred opposite one another in her breakthrough film, 'the night porter.'
