sad face

'Keaton was recognized as the seventh-greatest director of all time by Entertainment Weekly. In 1999, the American Film Institute ranked Keaton the 21st-greatest male actor of all time.'

long before these honors were given to him, buster did have great success. alas, when his marriage to natalie talmadge (one of three actress daughters of studio head) ended, she emptied his pockets. the beverly hills home that he had built was eventually lived in by actor james mason and then cary grant. what a lovely home it appears.
