the great actor dana andrews actually popped up in a brilliant episode of 'night gallery.' it was a sad story about a loving father trying to decide what is best for his freakish looking son. he is coerced by the government to him to another planet 'for his own good' and when his son arrives there he is first greeted by a very handsome and sad young man who is about to be shipped to earth.
all the girls come to welcome dana's son and fawn all over him because, you guessed it! they look just like he does.
