transitional

my introduction to gary oldman was his role as funny, smart, and perversive british playwright joe orton in 'prick up your ears.' he was unforgettable. even though his career has been long and he has proved to be versatile, i still think it is funny he ended up playing the good policeman in the blockbuster 'batman' movies. that's how good he was as 'joe.'

in time we will we able to see him in this: 'Tinker, Tailor, Soldier, Spy' (2012) (pre-production)in which he will play 'George Smiley.' what a great name for this guy! the film will co-star ralph fiennes and colin firth. major.
