'the likely lads'
'Oh what became of the Likely Lads? What became of the dreams we had? Oh what became of forever?'- the libertines
james bolam and rodney bewes starred in a popular t.v. show that gave the british television audience laughs between 1964-66. the title might be derived from the phrase 'the man most likely to' which is a boxing expression.
actor james bolam shared a flat with the man who would become known as marc bolan. the musician claimed he took his name from james.
