the band 'television' cannot be surpassed. there have been countless cool groups but these guys were in the right place (nyc) at the right time (1973) doing impeccably right music that never stops inspiring. people often use the expression 'best. band. ever.' they were. no one from the band became a film actor, they do not have a long list of soundtrack credits, but they did choose to name themselves after cinemas greatest fear.
