applause

96 screen credits! it is possible that one of noel coward's plays is as interesting as the man himself but i doubt it. to read him is divine but to watch a documentary on his life is transportive. his speech, mannerisms, humor... the man was elegance itself and absolutely brilliant.
in 2008 a film version of his play 'easy virtue' hit the screen starring everyone's fave colin firth. i surely like him but it always amazes me just how popular he is. both quintessentially british, they were bound to meet.
