just because

david bowie has had a film career one could describe as quite eclectic. i am only seriously well versed in 'the man who fell to earth.' that alone positioned him very high in my mind. there was talk of his contributing to the soundtrack for that film. possibly his record 'station to station' was the contender. that was surely a super album but it was 'scary monsters' that really got me. to see the cover shot before the art director got busy with it is really a treat.

station to station is a wonderful 'romantic' album.
scary monsters and lodger are my faves for creative genius bowie-esque impressionism.
