what a perfect poster! even though the classic film was shot in black and white, who cared? 'lolita' bridges many gaps. people relate to others who loved it. people relate to the jeremy irons remake of the film being not so good, though no one would dare knock irons the great.
when i teamed up with my partner in my band 'slow children' it was nabokov's masterpiece which gave us endless material for laughs and inspiration. our band name actually came from the writer's description of driving across america, avoiding deer and slow children. leave it to a foreigner to point out how humorous we americans really are.
