no one had the looks that joe dallesandro had. no one had that screen presence either. some people just have to get in front of the camera and the 'thing' happens. joe kinda seems like he is beyond having to memorize lines, though i am sure he did. i loved 'heat.' 'frankenstein' was funny. they were both andy warhol films and warhol definitely had a sense of humor. i think joe was a prefect guy to lend his stillness to the mayhem.
the mysterious joe dallesandro has two children, three grandchildren, and now runs a hotel in hollywood.
