no one looked into a camera like marilyn monroe did. she gave of herself as if they were completely alone together. it never feels voyeuristic to see the images. within the safety of the lens, she seemed to find her way into revealing her deepest self and be it cheerful or sullen the woman glows. this form of communicating reaches beyond time.
