paris born

jean-pierre leaud began acting in films at the age of fourteen. he starred in his second role as antoine doinel in the timeless classic, 'the 400 blows.' although he played a young schoolboy, he was in fact fifteen. he never looked back. to date he has appeared in 85 films. though i have never seen him look a mess, he never seems to be a square. he brings truth to the expression 'never judge a book by it's cover.'
like james dean, jean-pierre showed that one need not look extreme to arouse one's interest. may generations of pigeons to come rest upon the head of a stature made in his honor.
