up at dawn

if i were in paris and 'lilith' were being screened in one of the many wonderful revival houses that bring such great joy to lovers of classic films, i would surely give up two hours i would otherwise spend wandering my favorite city in the world. i did see this film once but i recall very little.
jean seberg had the face of a child and warren is, well, you know. what is pretty fun to learn about this movie is that instead of staying on long island where it was filmed, beatty was escorted back and forth from nyc each day. that man was just sort of born to it.

'Lilith' is a great film, pretty sure I saw it on the big screen in the 90's somewhere but cannot be certain.
