the happily married bogart and bacall. i have never seen him ride a bike in a film so perhaps he got from the commissary to the stage via his two wheeler. humphrey has a little gesture i find so charming. he does it in both 'the maltese falcon' and 'casablanca.' he simply shakes his head very slowly to imply the word no. it is actually elegant.
