one of my favorite songs ever is 'friday on my mind' by the easybeats. it is absolutely as great today as it was in the sixties. david bowie recorded it on his covers record 'pinups' and the song has been included in soundtracks for six films, the most recent being 2009's 'the boat that rocked.'
