

once in a while i wish a favorite book would be made into a film. even though novelist david markson's, 'wittgenstein's mistress' dips into a surrealist terrain, i think in the right hands it would be amazing to 'see.'
while reading the story i did not need to figure out if the narrator was indeed the only person left on earth or just imagined she was. living alone on a beach, the world was her oyster. anyone who can waltz into a museum and take home whatever they like is someone i want to get to know. c'mon brilliant actresses, here is a field day just waiting to happen.
