i get it
it took growing all the way up for me to appreciate this wonderful actor. director otto preminger said he loved working with him because there was never a chance he would overact. dana just didn't have that in him. one of the many reasons i can watch the classic film 'laura' again and again is because of this guy. when he drills laura on whether or not she still loves the vincent price character (!), he barely reveals his gigantic joy when she says she doesn't know how she ever could have. i guess he is what one calls un vrai homme.
