i have never been a 'list' person but if i were this movie would be near the top. ellie lambetti is the stunning greek actress from 1957's 'a matter of dignity.' what a splendid film that is. van heflin? i really love this actor who from certain angles reminds me of my father. greece must be one of the most gorgeous places on this planet.

yes, van heflin, garnished the endearing underdog red ribbon: 2nd place under the title" supporting actor," along side richard widmark. are they not the supports that kept the ' star', above the horizon?
