a very private world
the dutch master, johannes vermeer, aside from taking us into their homes, took us right into the very soul of individuals. his work is heartbreakingly brilliant and intimate. the fact that this man is one of the most beloved of artists is a lovely testament to man's desire to connect with simplicity.
