sir cecil reminds me of the writer truman capote.
they were both brilliant at pleasing women in high society. perhaps cecil worked more but they are both going down in history as clever talents who used and abused the kindness of one time strangers. i am not sure how deep friendships go with social climbers.
what i do know is cecil was a master at creating beauty. 'glamour' was his middle name. he was also an official war photographer, writer, and costume designer. if the queen was his teatime date, hollywood was his playground.
