the title is just me trying to be funny. in tennessee williams' play 'cat on a hot tin roof' the children are referred to as 'no neck monsters.' the phrase is gorgeously spoken by elizabeth taylor in the film version. tennessee himself made only a single appearance in a film based on his work. the film was 'the rose tattoo.' believe it or not, he was not credited. this strikes me as very funny.
