i do not know what it is about this actor. michel piccoli has 'je ne sais quoi' like nobody's business. this living legend of french cinema has over 220 film credits! i fell for him in jean luc godard's 'le mepris' (trans. 'contempt') where he played the bewildered husband of brigitte bardot. i have seen him in other films and he is just so solid. i read he will star in the life story of actress romy schneider, who he worked with. if you're getting the impression that i am crazy for things french, you'd be correct.
