i saw posters for director/writer tom dicillo's 'delirious' all over the lower east side of nyc long before i finally managed to see it. i knew i would like it. the actor steve buscemi is an indication that a film is going to be good.
take an interesting looking fellow like steve and team him up with a face like michael pitt. within moments you are drawn into this groovy story of a celeb photographer and his one minute ago homeless assistant. the star attraction for them both is a rocker played by the diminutive alison lohman, a wonderful actress who appears to have stepped out of a music box.
buscemi is sort of peerless as he is in his own category. michael pitt actually has brando moments of screen beauty. i laughed and felt like crying. a really good film.

forlorn steve, he is a great character of film. i have not seen this film but reminds of the great movie steve did with scarlett johansson in 'ghost world' i totally relate to steve's character in that movie. i collect old 78's that i play on several of my rca victrolas. what a face!
