lois smith: beginning with the early 50's, this unique actress has over 100 credits to her simple name. on screen her clock seems to tick at a slightly different speed than others. despite a nervousness in her voice, it is wonderfully relaxing to watch her.
in these early snaps made during costume tests she reminds me of the french wonder vanessa paradis.
